We stand behind everything we sell. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return the unused, unopened item within 60 days and we'll replace it or give you a refund. Please read "Returns" below for more information.  We do not charge your credit card/paypal account until your order ships.  If an item is back ordered or out of stock, we will email and/or call you

*USPS Priority Mail usually arrives in 2-3 business days for continental US, but is NOT guaranteed.

**USPS Express Mail usually arrives in 1-2 business days for continental US, but is NOT guaranteed.

Note: Orders placed before 2pm M-F, pacific time usually ship the same day, if item is back-ordered or out of stock you will be notified prior to billing/shipping.

Please note that some items may be subject to additional shipping and handling charges because of size or weight.  These items include, but are not limited to; liquids, creams, greases, lubricants, frames, complete bikes, wheels, trainers, rollers.  Also note these items may not be shipped via USPS--we also utilize UPS or Fed Ex ground for heavy and/or bulky items. 

***Most orders requesting in-store pickup will be ready the same day, if placed prior 2:00 pm Pacific time.  Unless arrangements are made in advance, orders need to be picked up within 10 days or a 10% restocking fee will be charged.

USPS International shipping rates vary widely by country and weight;  we reserve the right to adjust total shipping charges based on items and/or weight; we will notify you of any change in shipping rate prior to shipping.  International shipments may take 25 days and longer to reach their destination depending on country location.

International customers:  Due to dimensional restrictions placed by carriers, we are unable to ship large and/or heavy items (bikes, frames, wheels, etc.) internationally.  If the item(s) you are looking at will not fit in a small flat-rate box (9x6x2 in.), we will not be able to send it. 

INFORMATION SECURITY

We protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all of the information you provide to us and prevents outside parties from being able to "see" your transaction information. When your account information is displayed on your screen, we only display the last five digits of your credit card numbers. You also have the choice of whether or not to save credit card information with us in your Online Account.

Returns-Refunds-Cancellations

If there’s a problem with something you purchased from us, you can either bring it to our store or ship it back. Ship returns via Ground UPS or insured US Mail (we do not accept CODs). We will refund shipping costs on items damaged during shipping. Merchandise returned that appears used and/or not in original packaging will be subject to a 10% restocking fee plus any related shipping costs incurred by Branford Bike. (Labor fees are not refundable, i.e., custom built wheels.)

Unopened, unused merchandise which is returned is fully refundable (except for shipping fees incurred by Branford Bike) for up to 60 days.

Returns over $100 must have a return authorization number clearly marked on the outside of the package or the item will be refused. A return authorization number can be obtained via e-mail--info@branfordbike.com

Branford Bike cannot accept for return tubular tires that have been glued to the rim.The tubular tire manufacturers feel that their quality control procedures eliminate most defects. These procedures include inflating each tire and inspecting it for defects. Because lightweight, high performance tires cannot be guaranteed against unforeseeable road hazards, the manufacturers will not accept tires that have been glued for return.

We suggest that when you receive your tubular tires they be installed on a clean rim and inflated to full pressure then left overnight to be inspected the following day for defects. (Tubular tires with latex tubes will lose 30 to 50 lbs in a 12 hour period as latex is more porous than butyl.) By testing your tire in this fashion you will also be stretching the tire which allows for easier installation. If any defects are found prior to gluing we will be happy to send you an exchange or issue a refund.

Cancellation Policy

All orders are automatically processed on our secure merchant processor and prepared for shipment as soon as they are placed. While we understand that orders might need to be changed sometimes, we are unable to do it free of charge after a certain point. We strictly adhere to the following cancellation policy:

* If you cancel your order BEFORE it has been shipped, you will not be assessed a cancellation fee before credit is issued.

* If you cancel your order AFTER it has been shipped, you will be assessed a 20% cancellation fee plus all shipping fees incurred by Branford Bike.

* Orders which are REFUSED AT DELIVERY will be assessed a 30% cancellation fee plus all shipping costs. 

Backorders

Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be backordered. If this should occur, we will only bill your credit card for merchandise that is actually shipped. The total shipping charge for orders split into multiple shipments will not exceed the amount quoted on original order.
